What can you expect to see during the ride?
This is the most diverse trail ride you will ever experience. We start off in the rain forest of Alaska were moose and bear roam and through part of the old town of Seward that was destroyed by the great earthquake of 1964. You will hear the stories of the people who lived through it. Then out to the grass land to the beach of Resurrection Bay where the wild flowers meet the ocean. The bird life of this area is very diverse, active and up close. We will then cross the many rivers view bald eagles up close, see where they nest and watch them feed. It is rare that you can’t ride your horse right under the trees where they majestically perch and feed their young. Then loop back towards home but not before another river crossing were the salmon swim through the horse’s legs on there way to their spawning grounds. The scenery is absolutely spectacular.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes, all riders ought to be less than 275 lb. Please call in advance to let us know if your party has riders over 250, that way we can have the appropriate horse for the rider.

We offer two trail rides daily at 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. The duration for both is two hours and is $129.00 Per Person +3% sales tax (total $132.87). We chose this amount of time because most customers don’t ride much and two hours is just enough time to make you sore the next day but nothing an ibuprofen can’t fix. And we don’t want to stop you from enjoying what Alaska has to offer.
